Zaasakwe Multimedia

Zaasakwe means "War Cry" in the Anishinaabe Language. Zaasakwe Art Installations showcase our collective of Artists and Curators across our Communities through a variety of means. We feature Artists exhibits and acts of Guerrilla Artistic Resistance by interpretive art performances and installations by reclaiming and occupying space in our Clan Territories.

We challenge mainstream and colonial narratives through our art by creative Resistance through Murals, Banner Drops, FlashMob Performances, and other ways that come to us through Spirit.
